New Years Resolutions from Baja California

New Years Resolution from Baja California

Okay, I have to be honest here, 2012 had it's great highs and great lows for me and the last days of the year I had a really tough time letting go of what I lost in 2012. There was some business challenges throughout the year, but that didn't bother me so much as the heart break which came at the end.

I don't mean to start off on this post with a negative or be a downer at all, but I just wanted to be authentic here and acknowledge to you that even though most all of my posts are upbeat and positive and I may seem to be Mr. Happy Go Lucky all the time, I am not. I am not always right, perfect or politically correct either. I can be a smart ass and inappropriate at times, but that mostly comes from my sense of humor. I grew up with Roman Catholic and Jewish influences on either side of my family. So please take me and my posts with a grain of salt.

I share this with you so that you know that even though I have traveled well, have explored many lifestyles, have made friends all over the world (in person, not Facebook), and it may seem to some people that I don't have a care in the world, that is not true either. I've made many sacrifices to have lived the way I have and most people wouldn't do what I've done to do what I've been able to do. Some people judge me for it and that's OK. They don't walk in my shoes and haven't had the same experiences to draw from to determine what I should be doing or what is right for me, I'm sure you could relate.

Other people have said to me that they want to be me and have the excitement that I've had throughout my journey. Could you imagine?! I wouldn't recommend it, wouldn't want to have anybody go through a near death head trauma for it.

Insight for New Years Resolutions from Baja California

So you see, we are the same person that some people love and others not so much. Everybody has their own perspective, right? We are all coming from a different place and everyone is entitled to the way they feel about the world. Yet, we shouldn't let the opposing opinions of others bring us down and take away our self esteem and or belief in what we can do and become.

Rise To The Top

I know that all of us had our ups and downs in 2012 and no matter how bad things got, you I want acknowledge you for your strength and courage to keep moving forward.

Be Bold and Fearless!!!

It's do or die in 2013, so here's what helped me get rid of those negative emotions and pay more attention to the possibilities of possibilities…

A Burn Notice

I spoke to a friend of mine on Skype that said she was with a group of people whom were going to write down on paper all of the bad things that they wanted to get rid of from the last year and burn them.

99 Balloons

My friend's group also wrote down all their good wishes and intentions for the new year and sent the resolutions up into the sky with helium balloons, so God could read them. :)

I thought that was awesome! So I made a request and asked if they would send something up for me and they did!

I handled the writing of the burn notice here on the ranch in Baja California.

So on the 1st, when I woke up, I felt much better than I did the last day of 2012. It is a new day and a new year! I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain! And so do you!!

Your New Years Resolutions

I encourage you to get out a piece of paper and or whatever other tool you use to take notes on and write down all of your new years resolutions for the new year to come. Be clear on what you want less of and what you want more of throughout your journey in 2013.

Please Like, Share and leave any of Your New Years Resolutions in the Comments area for 2013.

Happy New Year and God bless!
